Last weekend, B1 Soccer Academy USA finally carried out the long waited B1 Camp in Fort Myers, Florida. It is always a pleasure to implement such a football clinic for athletes and to work with them!
After having enjoyed the first campus in May 2019 and the second edition in October 2019, the B1 coaches have returned to Fort Myers to celebrate the third edition.
This time, around 30 athletes aged between 6 and 15 years old participated in the Camp. Moreover, the Camp itself was supervised by Michael Mora and Sergio Alfaro who did an excellent job from start to finish.
The main goal of the B1 Camp was to work on technical aspects with the players, but we thought that some strategic aspects would be useful too.
Furthermore, specific drills were created for the players to work on multiple facets such as quickness, precision, positioning on the field, control, reception of the ball, and many more.
Several dynamic exercises were put in places such as specific rondos or little games with one side having numerical superiority to work on the positioning, reception of the ball, and passing.
The coaches made sure to follow the precise B1 Methodology and give all the necessary tools to the players for them to improve in the future.
Moreover, the atmosphere was really enjoyable, with the kids having a good time under the blazing sun. It was a pleasure for us to do this B1 Camp and we will surely do it again in a near future.
We also have the participation of our B1 Player Edgar Garcia, originally from Fort Myers, but currently living and playing in our academy in Barcelona.
It should also be noted that this B1 Camp would not have been possible without the participation and collaboration of our local coaches, as well as the help of our sponsors Kia Galeana Fort Myers and NRL Mortgage.
On an end note, we are soon opening the TRYOUTS at B1 Soccer Academy USA for the upcoming season and you can register here. We are really excited and hoping to see most of you there!
