We are delighted to announce that Edgar Garcia, a player from Fort Myers, Florida, is returning for the second time to B1 Soccer Academy in Barcelona. And he will be spending the whole year with us.
Edgar wants to improve even more as a player and we have been able to grab him for an interview during training to know a bit more about him.
He really enjoyed the environment at B1, the trainings as well as living with his fellow teammates in the residence. He felt comfortable in the academy and wanted to keep playing amazing football.
“B1 Experience is very different from any other academy and that it’s the best experience I’ve had in my football career.”
Moreover, he acknowledges the way we give our player opportunities and support them in the chase of their football dreams.
His best experience at the academy is the style of football we are used to playing. The very fast pace and consistent football that B1 Soccer Academy is used to teach convinced Edgar and helped him become better in those areas.
Now, he is able to be more consistent and keep the same pace throughout a whole game and even at practice, which encouraged him to come back and improve even more. He tells us later he considers his best quality as a player to be his speed.
On the other hand, he would like to improve a couple of areas but mostly it would be his vision of the game and his positioning accordingly.
The most important objective he has during this new season with B1 Soccer Academy is to improve overall and being able to be helpful for his teammates on the field.
